Briscoe Volunteers Complete Installation of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detection Devices

As a founding sponsor of the “Just One Life” fire safety initiative, Briscoe Protective Systems is helping the local community obtain and install essential fire and carbon monoxide detection equipment for their homes.

“Just One Life” was designed to raise fire safety awareness throughout Long Island communities. The program was launched during October, which is nationally recognized as Fire Safety Month, at the Centereach Fire Department. Briscoe staff and volunteers joined Centereach fire officials and board members to distribute smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to selected members of the community. As a unique difference to the program, Briscoe employees volunteered to install devices in the homes.

The attached photograph is one example of device installs that have recently taken place in the Centereach, NY area. “Just One Life” will continue moving forward with similar events planned for co-sponsorship by additional fire districts on Long Island.
