AR Specialist – Centereach, NY

Fire Alarm/Security Company is seeking to add an entry-level accounting position to provide financial, administrative and clerical services to their Accounting/Compliance department. This is a great opportunity for a full-time position with great benefits. Come grow with our growing company!

Skills, Knowledgeable, and Abilities

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to complete assignments on time and with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and proactively with other employees within the department.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable.


  • Email/mail documents requested by the customer and follow up.
  • Resolve customer billing problems and saves accounts receivable delinquency.
  • Customer service and day to day financial activity.
  • AR Collections.


  • 1+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred not required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred, but not required.
