We are looking to enlarge our Residential Sales team with an experienced Sales Manager for our Garden City team. Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, develop, direct and coach Field Sales Representatives for improved performance
  • Supervise day to day activity of Field Sales Representatives ensuring daily and monthly sales goals are achieved and all performance objectives are met
  • Measure performance and development opportunities for each team member
  • Help penetrate underpenetrated vertical markets
  • Establish and implement coaching and development plans to ensure continuous progress and exceed sales quotas
  • Motivate team members through the execution of team meetings, side by side coaching, training, contests and other incentives
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure retention rate is maintained at accepted levels
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Recruiter and management team to assure quality of hires and maintaining required headcount for field sales

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously while following established processes and procedures
  • 5-7 years sales experience and 3+ sales team development and management experience
  • Security Industry and Home Automation experience preferred
  • Must have a solid understanding of “Self-Generated” Sales and recruitment processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive interpersonal and customer interface skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally on a daily basis to observe and support field sales representatives
