All cellular carriers and security communications networks have moved to the “new 5G/LTE network” and all 3G/4G networks were shut down December of 2022. Cellular carriers have phased out these older generations in favor of faster and more advanced technology like 4G LTE and 5G networks.

How will it affect your security alarm?

Your security system will continue to function as usual. Your system’s radio communicator will become obsolete and will no longer communicate with central station. To prevent any interruption in service, it is imperative to keep your security system and equipment up-to-date.

We have sent several notices by email and mail to notify affected customers about cellular carriers sunsetting older technology and how we can upgrade their 3G/4G communicator to the new 5G communicator and network.
